I didn’t know how to thank my mother. She was always looking out for me and reminding me of things I needed to do. Honestly, without my mother I would have ended up in a lot of trouble, a long time ago. I was amazed at how she managed to keep her life under control, and still know what was going on in my life. She knew more about my schedule than I did and I didn’t know what was going to happen when I moved too far away from her. I couldn’t picture myself living in a different town to my mother. As soon as that thought crossed my head, I was in shock. I was a twenty five year old woman who was basically still relying on her mother to live like an adult. I may have been living like an adult, but I was acting like a dependant child. I needed to change that.
